2023 Honda Ridgeline RTL-E Rebates and Cali Wrangler 4xe tips

I originally wanted a 2023 4xe Willys or an order on a 2024 4xe Sport S at 12% off MSRP. I know 11% is possible on the east coast with Mitch but I haven’t been able to get anywhere near that in Cali. If anyone has any leads please let me know! The closest I could find was in Idaho for 7% off MSRP so started shopping for other models.

I found that RVs were pretty high on this car 67% and Honda has a decent MF (.00137) right now.

Here’s the best deal I could find after working almost full-time for a week between emails and phone calls:
MSRP: 47,660
Sales Price: 42,200
Dealer fees: $400 door guards + $100 doc fee. I tried to convince him to give me a hard tonneau cover instead for the same price but no luck.
Registration: $911
Taxes: 10.75%
Conquest Rebate: $1k
Newsom Tax: 10.75%
Link (this matches what the dealer is showing me maybe off by $3/month): CALCULATOR | LEASEHACKR

2 questions:

  1. I really want to stay in a Wrangler so does anyone have a dealer on the west coast that can go 11% off MSRP on a lower trim 4xe? Also open to bordering states like NV or AZ. I tried several brokers already but no one could get better than the numbers I’m getting.
  2. Are there any additional rebates I can take advantage of with Honda? I think there’s no more wiggle room but maybe someone can chime in.

Not the usual unicorn I have been able to pull off in the past but we are post COVID and inventory is still recovering. I’m also desperate to get into a car within the next 6 days so that I can capitalize on the equity on my current lease. Other cars that I looked at were the Subaru WRX and Volvo C40. Subaru dealers won’t get better than 8% off despite 2024s rolling out soon and I got good discounts on the C40 until I realized that the $5k rebate got killed 6 weeks ago lol.

Going in to pick up the car tomorrow. Insurance rates on this car are double that of my current Wrangler. Figure it’s from the popularity of stealing Japanese cars so I don’t think I’ll go with the one-pay option though saving $2000+ is so tempting.
