2023 eqe 350 suv

Hi all, first attempt at a lease, appreciate all of the great information. This is on a loaner with 2k miles.

Tried to enter it in as close as possible, but the dealer said MSDs was $5700 and the monthly is $525. Sell price is 60900. I don’t have the detailed calc yet, but it seems they’re marking up the MF compared to my calc?

Anyways wanted to know what more experienced LHs thought about this deal and anything to negotiate.

You missing the 5k AMEX rebate. If you have AMEX its easy on penfed website

There’s amex fleet for $5k. Try to get it closer to $400 for loaner. Someone did get eqe350 for $250/month but that’s unicorn deal. $400-450 for eqe loaner with may incentives should be good already.

That someone was me

I got $1000 Amex. Not sure where the $5K is out there. Had I got $5K the dealer would have had to pay me a monthly fee, I think. :grinning:

OP: With the Amex, even if you don’t have one, you can apply for and get a card. Then you qualify. That’s what I did. It was pretty much instant.

im trying to replicate your deal right now, calling all dealers near me and asking if they have a loaner for sale thats not listed. I do see the 5k off 2023 models on amex car site. How did you get to 12k discount without the 5k from amex? It’s only 7500 from MB

Dealer Cash is $4k
Amex is $5k
It doesnt stack. Maybe that’s why they put it as dealer cash $4k & amex $1k.

I think things changed April to May. I had $11,500 plus the $1000 from Amex. The $11,500 was the $7500 EV credit and then another $4000 from somewhere. So you may think, that’s the difference between $5K and $1K Amex. But $11,500 was there even before anyone mentioned Amex. So I don’t know. I didn’t really care too much how the sausage was made. I got a kick ass deal and didn’t ask too many questions, ya know?

That makes sense.

So this deal should be easy to replicate as long as dealer is willing to add 7500 ev and 5000 amex. As long as we get 20-25% off MSRP on top of that

Yeah, I think this includes the dealer cash of 4k, and then I could try to get them to add the 1k from Amex. Anything else really to try to do to lower total cost?

Ask 20%+ dealer discount before incentive

Yep. And MF at .0017, some dealers will try to mark it up.
Also keep in mind after a certain mileage, I think it’s 2000, there’s a 20 cent per mile cost, for loaners. Ideally try to get one under 2K miles.

I signed end of april

515 a month with 515 DAS
Msrp 83k
Selling 62k
Ev 7500
Amex 5k

Theres still a chance

Loaner with 6k miles, 36/10k

There is a $4000 MIB bonus incentive. If you have fleet (which is what Amex gets you), you get a $5000 incentive in lieu of the $4000 MIB incentive. So Amex is a $5000 incentive, but it only nets you $1000.

I just signed $5000 DAS $489 monthly payment. $81k list, $62,500 selling price including the Amex applied, dealer said the $18500 discount had $3000 Amex in it. Also applied the $7500 federal. 36 months 10k miles.

Money factor went from 0.00236 to 0.00196 with 10xMSD at $6000.

This is comparable to the leasehackr site deals of April. New car, not loaner

In Socal.

Is the Sam’s Club incentive the same as Amex?

Thanks for the data point. I ended up with $575/month, with just the 6k MSD DAS. Not a super deal, but the best I could find at the moment. WA taxes are high.

Yah, theyre both just fleet qualifiers

That’s a $6,000 before incentive.

$5k DAS and MSDs and $489 a month for 36 months!!?? With a significant MSRP discount.

Yikes. What happened?

As for loaner vs new new, the second you drive off with it, it’s a “loaner” as well.
