What were the original terms of the lease?

36 months
10k miles per year
It was a demo car, which explains the odd final maturity mileage. Happy to provide other details.

In case folks might ask, I wanted to be that guy. I am not in the market, but thanks for providing the info.

I just want to know why this guy is sweaty even with ventilated seats on his Bimmer .

Imagine if I didn’t have the ventilated seats!

Exactly! I will say that I enjoy cleaning my cars, so I’d be ashamed of myself if the seats ever looked like this.

Hey is this still available

Yes, it’s still available. Feel free to PM me.

What is the value at lease end?

Residual is $49,527.22

Thanks great spec!

Ironically, you’re responding to a guy who is a self-proclaimed anti-carwasher.

Hey whatever works for you. I kind of wish that I didn’t care and could leave it dirty.

@holeydonut can you help the man with his OCD? :sunglasses:

Get a German Shepherd (aka German Shedder) and you’ll get your wish. Ask me how I know, lol!

Try a dog and 2 kids who have a penchant for eating yogurt pouches in the car :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

While OCD may be the prevailing theory, my take is that it’s something tangible where you can see progress. It’s my therapy. Sitting behind a computer all day is too theoretical.

Now you’re treading on an extremely thin ice!!! Many moons ago my daughter’s friend spilled Jamba Juice (contains dairy) in her car with cloth seats. It got on the seat, between the seat and the arm rest and all the way down to the carpet. They wiped down what they could assuming that was it… And then she parked the car in the sun in about 90-100 degree weather the same day.

We thought our garage was transformed into an uncooled make shift morgue the next morning - that stench was impossible to describe! We thought about having the car totaled as the first chemical treatment didn’t do it. Had to treat all surfaces including the headliner to get it out. GL!

Ha it’s always funny in retrospect. That does sound mildly horrific though.

I will say I’ve banned all liquid(ish) items in the car.

Also many moons ago, your story reminds me when I was moving out of an apartment after deep cleaning it. I was using a rug cleaner and had purchased one full gallon of concentrated cleaning fluid. Such lovely liquid slowly dripped its entire contents into the trunk. It was a hatchback so there wasn’t any barrier to protect me. While mildly pleasant, the smell was noxious and unbearable. I was too poor to do anything outside of drive with the windows down for MONTHS! Luckily, this was in Southern California, so I could get away with windows down.

This same car blessed me with a driver’s side door that wouldn’t open. I was starting a new job and had to climb out of the window or exit the passenger side with my suit on every day. Fun times!
