2023 BMW M240i Cash MSRP

,

This wasn’t a deal I paid MSRP but I was fortunate to get this car at all. No brokers here had any allocations available for this car and the average wait is over a year. Leases were atrocious so I paid cash. Anyway, after 6 months I am thrilled to share my new ride!

Congrats!!!

IDK why even experienced LHer perpetuate this narrative. A deal is compared to market price, not an arbitrary number like MSRP. On some cars paying sticker means paying 15, 18 or even 20% below retail.

Congrats, I was able to grab a ‘22 at msrp and leverage a 1500 rebate via USAA exactly 1 year ago. Was worried I overpaid but clearly didnt! Demand vs supply on this car unlikely to change anytime soon.

A fantastic car, better looking and more practical as a daily than the new M2. Enjoy!

You make a very valid point. I feel like this car is a steel. It has been dynoed on YouTube stock, it has 400 WHP. It has a back seat, although small I actually drive two kids in car seats to school every day in it. Where else can you get a 400HP all wheel drive car with a back seat for under $60K fully loaded?

So I actually was going to get an M2. Even thought I think the M240 is much better looking I still wanted a “real” M car. The wait was over a year or I could pay $10K over MSRP for the privilege of driving one now. I passed, and I am very glad I did. I am loving this car and am still breaking it in. I cant wait to really cut it loose. The biggest surprise for me has been how comfortable it is! I am coming from a 2020 M340 and the only complaint I had about that car was the ride. Even on comfort with the adaptive suspension it was rough. This thing rides like an 80’s Cadillac. With that being said you definitely sacrifice road feel. The M340 already had that numb “modern” feel this car takes it to another level. It feels like you are playing a video game. Steering is super precise and very responsive but no feel at all .If that is the sacrifice for comfort I will take it all day.

Nope, If you go over to the forum on Bimmerpost there is still a long line of people waiting for them. There are still many people just trying to get an allocation, let alone waiting for delivery after an order.

Yeah, I imagine MSRP on this is really good…

@CapsCup2018: great color! Enjoy the new car!
