Some reviews say it’s supposed to be here in July, anyone knows of a date or when they can be ordered?

Love the new updated 2023 3 Series body style!
A big improvement over the last generation!!
Interior looks a lot more contemporary too…
….
Man, whomever does bmw’s grills needs to be shot.
I almost think the pig snout 4 series is better than that abomination.
hate the rear lower bumper feel like they went the new WRX route, hope aftermarket can change that
The snout has grown on me. And if the 4CV wasn’t a soft top it would take everything in my power to not pick up M440i xDrive.
Looks great honestly. The new double screen from the i4.
Other then the curved display, most of the tech seems like old news. Pretty dramatic cosmetic changes for a 3er LCI though.
Yeah, I know, reviving a dead thread and all, but….
Does anyone know if the base headlights for post-LCI 330is were upgraded from the base headlight pre-LCI?
I’m vaguely toying w/ the idea of a lightly used 330i for next car, and the base headlights pre-LCI were given a “poor” rating by the IIHS (and the crappy headlights on my Golf are one of the few things I intensely dislike about the car).
From what I gather, the base headlights might have been upgraded to matrix LEDs (minus the anti-dazzle tech) post-LCI and are way better the pre-LCI base lights.
I can’t find a clear answer on bimmerpost and don’t feel like creating a new account just to ask this one question.
TIA.
Try to get a car equipped with laserlights and have it coded if you can help it.
pre-LCI LaserLight > LCI matrix headlights >> pre-LCI adaptive LED >>>>>>>>>>>> pre-LCI base LED.

Another thing you could do is go to realoem and just cross reference the PN. That could give some insight if they were different parts or the same.
The ordering guides pre-LCI doesn’t show 5A2 while post-LCI show 5A2 as standard. What a rabbit hole compared to the good old E90 days.
No laserlights from LCI onward. G20 suspensions have apparently gotten softer over time (apparently the 2025 models are even softer), and, TBH, softer works better for me. So I’ll probably try to stick w/ LCI and later.
Thanks!
I saw the bimmerpost thread when I went in a research spiral. Since they didn’t mention LCI adaptive headlights, I wasn’t sure if the only difference btw base and adaptive were the cornering lights. Seems like that might be the case, based on what you found (I could’ve sworn pre- and post-LCI showed the same part number for the base lights)…. In which the base headlights should be a huge upgrade for me.
BMW has been cutting cost on a lot of shit lately. Notice the same headlight changes from pre-LCI to the current ones. Loved the look of the previous ones. And then those sneaky bastards started chopping off fog lamps on every model. Be it any series. May I remind, removal of comfort access on the rear doors of large SUVs such as the X7 and XM.
Based on what I’ve seen quickly looking into this is yes; cornering lamps were the difference. Maybe a simple solution is to just drive with hi-beams always on.
