2022 Volkswagen Taos First Look

Thought this was an interesting vehicle. As a Tiguan owner myself, I’d find it hard to go lower on size. Still I respect how VW is making a smaller car that is capable but not as ugly as other smaller cars they’ve made in the past.

Also fun is that the KBB driver drove it but wasn’t allowed to look at the instrument cluster to check her speed. They wrapped the whole thing up. I’m sure VW is hiding digital instrument cluster with MIB3 in this.

Everybody is using ski towns for names uh

I didn’t even realize that’s a ski town, thanks!

Looking forward to VW Aspen.

Chrysler already took that name

Man, that thing is so uninspired. Yawn. Looks like a GMC Terrain or something.

Capable of what? Going to the mall?

Parking in a puddle…can you car do that? No? Go bigger then!

Capable of being marketed as an SUV.

Top 75% looks fine, bottom 25% is real bad.

Capable of being a good commuter car for example. I think Land Rover Defender is the more capable car for going to the mall.
