Youll need to both eat that transfer fee AND offer a decent incentive to cut that monthly. No one will be jumping at paying over 700 per month plus termination fee for the privilege of a 2wd Taco for a year.

Who is the captive? If it is TFS, have you tried to see if you have equity in it from carmax or carvana?

Like a 24 limited 4x4 payment. You should be able to dump this at carmax with little losses like other have said.
