2022 Subaru Legacy Premium Factory Order

What’s up everyone!

My sister is graduating after 5 tough years at Rutgers and I wanted to reward her effort and get her something she can use in her day to day for the next couple of years.

Of course, the first instinct was to look at BMW leases, but soon realized things have in fact not settled since I leased the Camaro.

So, I figured I should just buy something decent out right, and decided $25,0000 would be a good price point. Honda and Toyota dealers were $3000 above MSRP. Then I reached out to Subaru and they provide me with the following:

I am not too familiar with Subaru, though I’m going to assume the discounts are similar to what we would see on a Toyota or Honda (if anyones able to get discounts).

What am I missing in the above proposal? It is a factory order and is set to arrive mid-June. Can I go any deeper on the discount being offered?

Spend $500 and get the supplier price
Of course the dealer has so support it first

looks like OP was already quoted VIP pricing,

@Coach_P - looks like a good deal, no shady stuff

IMO a better equipped Impreza would be a better purchase than a base Legacy.

I suggest as much, but she seems set on a midsize car.

She’s been driving an old accord at about 180k miles now while everyone else in the family gets to trade in and lease new cars every 2-3 years.

I’m going to leave it up to her to get whatever she wants, specifically since she didn’t ask for much.

I really doubt I would get it, but I’m going to push for 10% off since I’m sitting at just a bit over 7% off msrp.

Thank you for taking a look at it!

I already get VIP through my company. It’s insane that this is the only way to get a discount atm

Fair enough… just as long as she’s aware the Legacy is officially a large car, and much larger than an older Accord that she’s used to.

I would call a ny dealer and knock off nearly $350 worth of doc fees!!
