You are paying almost $42K to lease a car for three years, I would say if you want this car you would be better off purchasing and just financing. The lease terms are nothing short of horrible.
Holy moly - I know it is a lifetime ago, but I had a 2019 E450 wagon with a $78k sticker that leased for $925 with $1500 out of pocket. As others have said, financing may be a more attractive path on that car.
Thanks everyone for your comments. I’m in San Antonio, TX and believe it or not, this is the best relative deal I can find on an E350 right now. The other two dealers in town are wedded to their market adjustment bumps. With this dealership, I was able to get $1500 off the MSRP, even though there’s a sticker on the windshield of all their new cars that says they’re adding a $7500 market adjustment right now.
Send me the worksheet and I’ll decipher it for rate markup. The presence of a lender tax credit tells me that either the residual on this is trash or they’re marking the rate up by the full 150bps (Yes, Merc can mark up to .00150 over buy rate)
Not married to it, but it’s the closest to the packages and color I want. Plus, Mercedes’ online ordering system has been down for about 2 weeks, so dealers can’t even tell you what they have coming in.
I’d go with the 540i that @IAC has. 6cyl lux > 4 cyl lux any day of the week. They drive pretty much the same. Interior may not be as glitzy as the e, but still a nice place to be.
