Nope, I didn’t go through with it but I’m considering getting back to them and asking them if they get to $45k adjusted cap cost I’ll take it
no, no rebates in discount.
Another dealer has a base with luxury and wheel upgrade. thinking about one pay for 15,717. total payments of the other base that i posted is 14869 so not much difference. well, 12,858 if I onepay. so almost 3k to keep my wifes butt cool for a couple years.
Lol, be careful what options you add. It’s tough to get the next car without the frills lol. But of course happy wife happy life.
How did you calculate Adj cap cost here (not not see in calc)? and, is 27 months the best value this month?
I just checked with the dealer, mine (23) should arrive in first week of Jan. Hope the incentives are still around!
This dealer is a bit of a shit show.
I don’t entirely trust them. They claim I can get $13k+ in rebates and still use CCAP but as someone else pointed out that doesn’t quite add up. Maybe with Ally it does but not CCAP which I was very specific about and told them I would absolutely not go with anyone else but CCAP.
Here is my contract on a 2022 GC4xe msrp 60994. MF .00185. NE region with affiliate.
Tried to get 5% before rebates but it came in at 2.6% off. $12k rebates, plus some other discounts. Affiliate and $1000 from jeep site.
Deal I am signing today on a 4xe base with rim upgrade and luxury package
Here is what I’m sending to dealers today and am pretty close to getting it. Going nationwide since dealers across have different discounts before rebates and incentives. Highest I’ve come across is 7k.
64450 MSRP
57250 discounted price including affiliate incentive from my employer
- 7500 tax credit
- 2500 rebates / incentives available for zip 98004
- 1000 Jeep website coupon offer
= 46250
46250
- 595 acq fee
- 500 dealer doc and titling fee
- 800 registration fees
- 1275 taxes on incentives
= 48145 capitalized cost
63% RV for 27/10k
0.00148 MF for 27/10k
Payment: 455 + taxes = 502 per month
With only 502 due at signing.
Doing a one pay on that will save you $2600… unless you’re just trying to flip.
The rebate of $11k + 11% off MSRP is pretty good!
That’s what I am shooting for. Got one acceptance. But they don’t do out of state lease. Bummer.
No one has flat out declined, so feasibility is high and also implies it’s all within reason.
Really curious how much they raise RV / drop MF next month when credit goes away. Will they keep blended price roughly the same? With the economy turning to shit and used car prices plummeting I can’t imagine many ppl leading this shitbox at 700+
Who said the credit is going away next month?
This is such a shit show that no one knows if its going away or what.
Just jumping into GC 4xe craze.
I read thru the thread but still have few questions and confusing takeaway (hopefully not asking for spoon feed)
- How come no one considered stacking penfed $500 coupon?
- can some help elaborate IDL rebate. I understand it is for non CCAP lender and create issue for flipper. But if I am looking to keep it, should I still overlook Ally or other lender?
- are non CCAP lender passing ev rebate?
- ratefindr shows CCAP and also Stellatis? What’s the difference? Also 2023 RV and MF don’t line up with Edmund forums.
- it appears that anything north of 8% net dealer discount is solid deal. But TX market is flooded (150+ in 200 mi radius with many stale inventory) and easily doable 10%+ … am I missing something? Are these hard to find in NW? Why MMR so strong when Texas is flooded with these?
- any pro tips to generate online coupon code? Struggling to generate it.
I could make thread in ask hackr but I think other late arrival might benefit post here. Let me know if I should move it.
Thanks
Got in the car today and it won’t go into electric mode, just says “electric mode temporarily suspended”. Had to drive to my brother-in-law’s anyways (≈21 miles, ≈50% highway) and towards the end of the drive an error message popped up twice that said “performance limited service fuel system” at highway speed.
It’s been in the single digits here and was in the teens when I got this. I’m assuming this is FORM or FORM related? The only thing that is throwing me is I saw in some other posts that you could scroll to see some mention of FORM? I can’t scroll the message at all, so not sure if this is any different?
I have about 1300 mi on my 2022 GC4XE summit if that’s relevant (vast majority have been done on electric, still on the second tank of gas with 3/4 full).
This is not a form related message and suggests something else is going on.
I hit electric only today at 10F and it said electric mode temporarily unavailable. The battery was charging as far as 27% without me doing anything (I guess either the cold or the “unavailability” meant it was charging while driving without using up any.
Later in the day it was fine again and used up the electric charge.
CCAP lease sheets go into Jan. 3. 2023 but the Federal Credit of $7500 ends Dec. 31, 2022
Penfed coupon does not apply to leases AFIK. If for some reason it does, it likely does not stack with the other rebates.
Ally does not appear to offer a better deal, CCAP is the way to go.
Trust the numbers from Edmunds - or even cross reference with what has been posted by brokers and/or those who have signed deals.
Just because the market is perceived to be “flooded” does not mean a certain percentage off is easily doable. Many don’t care if they sit on these, or if rebates and incentives change. I see well over 1000 within 200 miles of me, 8/10 dealers have been stubborn about discounting more than a couple thousand.
