Deal check on our first lease with a Hyundai Tucson Hybrid. We do not have possession of the car yet so need help with the numbers. How bad is this deal?
Welcome, and thanks for posting to Signed!
Wait so did you already have the car in your possession? What is the advice you’re seeking if the deal is done?
IMO, with the reasonable finance rates Hyundai has at the moment I think you’d be better off purchasing. $500/mo to rent seems steep for a Tuscon
What is the MSRP?
$18,432 over three years to lease an ~33K? Hyundai Tucson does not seem very wise
Look at financing as noted above as your MF is high
for only 10000 miles too!
Well the OP says it’s signed so too late to do anything about it.
Yep.
Near MRSP purchase price (including fees) and .0020 MF (4.8%) hurts that lease
Hyundai/Kia dealers are simply printing money these days
Just spoke with the dealer about the lease which we now have the option to finance or pay cash. I appreciate the feedback and glad we still have the flexibility to make changes.
Are they going to rip up the lease contract and do a new one or are they saying they will facilitate a lease buy out?
