2022 Hyundai Kona Limited Lease Offer Good or Bad?

I’m a newbie and using this wonderful forum (and the videos) to help. I got this from a Hyundai dealer and would like some learned opinions about whether it’s good or bad.

This looks really bad at first glance.

We always recommend the following method before you ever contact a dealership. If you do all of the work up front, you’ll have a stress free dealer experience and set yourself for success.

  1. Read Leasing 101 (Blog | LEASEHACKR) to understand how to calculate a lease payment and the variables. Monthly payment is an output, not an input!!
  2. Pick a specific vehicle that you want to target
  3. Gather the current MF, RV and incentives from Edmunds forums for your zip code
  4. Research the LH marketplace and other deals that have been made recently on your vehicle - what was their pre-incentive discount? How did their lease terms differ?
  5. Plug your numbers into the LH calculator (CALCULATOR | LEASEHACKR), and use a pre-incentive discount similar to what you have seen
  6. Create a target deal, this is what you’re trying to negotiate to. You can try different terms, selling price discount, etc. and see how your monthly payment is affected. It is also possible that different trims of your vehicle may have different MF and RV (i.e. this is very common with GM), so make sure that you look into that. Come up with a set of inputs that give you the output that you want - your desired monthly payment.

With a target price determined, you now have a deal to pursue and compare dealer offers against. More importantly, you have a solid foundation to work from.

You might be able to get an x3 with that monthly. Or maybe you can go for an NX f sport

No, this is a horrible deal. I ran the rough numbers of what they should be, and I’m coming up with around $325/month with $0 DAS. Bergstrom fees seem awfully excessive. The acquisition fee, for example, I’m fairly certain should be $650 not $895.

Could be using a 3rd party bank

I DM’d you.

Ahh, good call. Could very well be the case.

Maybe change the title of your post, you might get more feedback that way.

Is anyone aware of or have received Hyundai lease cash or incentives for the 2022 Kona’s?

As they said in the other thread check Edmunds.com Hyundai Kona forums.

You could’ve asked this in your OTHER thread about this car.

Please keep your related posts in one thread, especially when the one thread already answered the question for how to get that info.

There’s no reason to be hostile. I’m new to this and trying my best.

Post a calculator it will enable others to help. But with these numbers I would just finance it.

That’s how some folks are here. I got the same sort of welcome when I asked if I can lease a car with credit issues. People practically laughed at me (I did manage to lease just fine btw). People here near to take a chill pill and come off their high horse it’s getting old
