2021 vehicles that are eligible for carpool sticker - why is the list shrinking?

There are more cars eligible for 2020 model compared to 2021. Examples for cars that were eligible for 2020 but not for 2021:

  • Audi: e-tron
  • Chevy: Bolt
  • Ford: Escape and Fusion
  • Hyundai: Ioniq
  • Tesla: ALL models

Did CARB made changes to the requirement or it’s pending testing?

Because it’s not 2021 yet and not all manufacturers have released or finished certifying their 2021 models.

For example, Bolt EV will be refreshed for MY 2021 and GM hasn’t publicly released the details and specs on that car yet.
