Working a deal for a Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring AWD 36/10. First month down with all tax titles and fees wrapped into lease. I also have mazda loyalty. A few questions:
1.) Is freight charge typically $1,195 for a Mazda?
2.) I believe they added a market adjustment to the the MSRP as it should be $34,760. This is based on what is shown on Mazda’s website. Is anyone able to confirm?

It is a great point. I got the window sticker and confirmed the $35K sale price is correct. I did note a Destination Charge of $1,100 included in this price. Is it normal to have a freight charge tacked on as well at $1,195? I have never had this in any Acura leases I have done but dont know if Mazda is different
It makes no sense to lease in Maryland.
Unless you got some amazing deal, which you won’t in this current market.
Check in with @AutoNinjas . Not sure what their current CX-5 stock is, but worth an inquiry.
Is the car being shipped to you?
If not it’s just a fuggesy fee in-lieu of mark-up.
Is the lease calculator based on the actual #s you received?
Car is at dealer and I would pick it up there so that’s why i felt it was a mark-up as well. The lease calculator reflects the numbers i received.

I have seen CX-9 signature deals for around the same price so you’re definitely on the higher side. But being in MD, you’ll definitely be on the higher side due to taxes, but I’d suggest look at the marketplace for quotes on a similar vehicle in your region & go from there.
