Located in MA and it’s my first time leasing a car. Had my eyes on the 2021 Mazda CX-30 Select AWD. Been to one local dealer and get the quote of $335*36m + $1k down.
MSRP: $27225
Selling: $26690
Taxes: $454
Admin: $820
RV: 63%
MF: Dealer said that they don’t know ( ok?)
I walked away without a moment of hesitation. Any recent cops? What is a realistic offer should be? Anything would help. Thank you!
Good job! Not too much required to build out your target deal.
Grab the lease programs for your ZIP from the Edmunds forums.
Plug them into the calc for your framework. Research comparable shared deals on similar cars to get a sense of what pre-incentive % discount to shoot for. Plug that it and you’ll get your target deal. The number one thing to remember, monthly payment is an output! Get all the inputs sorted first and you’ll be in good shape.

@AutoNinjas are good Mazda brokers. Give them a shout if you don’t want to deal with legwork.
I located at MA (Forgot to update on the initial posting) and @AutoNinjas doesn’t seems to deliver vehicles to MA. But thank you for walking me through the searching process.
May I ask what is a realistic pre-incentive % should be? (Based on research is 7% - 8%, not sure if that’s true.
sounds reasonable. not many recent comps but I found this one.
Info is missing but some educated guesses let me with a discount somewhere between 6 and 9%. 8% seems like a reasonable target. Once you’ve got the Edmunds numbers, drop your attempted calc link here to work out the details.
