Hello! Please let me know if this deal is worth it. My trade in is a 2000 Camry LE with 215K miles, a missing sideview mirror, and muffler/exhaust issues. I know, the trade technically means the drive off is $500, but I believe the max tax deduction I can get for it is $500…and probably wouldn’t get more selling private due to maintenance needs. Total fees rolled in are $650 acquisition, $389 documentation, and $162 government fees.
Have you already signed the deal? Not sure why you included your VIN in the title, but I would strongly encourage you to remove it (whether you’ve signed it or not, but especially if you haven’t yet).
I would try to get $1000 off - if that, with the market conditions as it is, deals are not going to be that hot, especially on a Mazda. However, I’d try to send this offer to other dealers and see if they could match or beat said deal?
2021 Hyundai Tucson Limited. Car was for my mom - her choice.
She wanted a larger car with more traditional interior (touchscreen, buttons) - ended up getting over $7,200 off in these conditions so ended up being only $2K more much more in create comforts.
Not sure where you are from but down here in Florida you can get better pricing than that and this is one of the worst states for good deals. Maybe try getting another $1000 off as someone else already suggested here. Your deal is not horrible but if you are asking “I’m I leaving money in the table?” Yes you are.
