lol 9% jump but residual is 62% 36/10
The residual matches the dealer offer. Maybe a different bank
This payment is like getting 10% off if the residual is 62%.
so dealer comes back apologyzing and says that the initial deal was wrong due to a malfunction in their software! Says RV is 62% and MF is .0009 which takes this from $409 to $528 per month!!
Which you already knew, because you had verified rv/mf/incentives with edmunds before ever even thinking of contacting a dealer, right?
Hi Hackrsā¦
Here is the latest on this deal. The dealer came off MSRP by $500(1.14%) as an apology for misquoting the MF/RV. Also, gave $500 in incentives. $500/month, $3,164 DAS. Thoughts?
$500 off msrp doesnāt seem very compelling to me.
I have quotes on this trim in the same area(+/- 50 miles) that are discounted even less or holding tight. Some say they cannot get much more stock as the semi conductor shortages are wreaking havoc, so they are holding firm. Not sure how much that is true. On this trim, what would advise for a realistic % discount off msrp?
Personally, if thatās the best deal I could find anyone to do, Iād move on to a different vehicle. You may be at a realistic discount. Doesnāt make sense to me.
Appreciate that advice. I am looking for the luxury amenities without the luxe price tag. This seemed to be a good blend. In general I am looking at RVs over 60%, MF as low as possible and any incetives. What percentage off MSRP is a good rule of thumb on a newer version of a vehicle?
I swear I saw Sante Fe Limiteds for a good $100+/mo cheaper than this recently. Same vehicle, different window dressings⦠much better price point.
Thanks, Ill take a look.
The big issue here is youāre not getting away from the luxe price tag.
