Full MSRP, no incentives, and .003?

No thank you

a 4xe has the same price but comes with at least a 7500 rebate

Yeah, this offer is almost like “thank you sir! May I have another?!!?!?”

My only caveat to this is I’m strictly looking for a manual. There aren’t that many available.

Why not purchase and sell after a few years? RV is great but there is no discount and the MF is horrible. 7.2% is insane…that equates to almost $224/monthly for the interest charge alone.

That’s what my wife was saying, to just purchase.

Some cars are just better buys than they are leases.

Yeah, and Wranglers have historically held value very well…it has been like that for many years now. I toyed with the possibility of you having equity near the termination of the lease (to decrease the overall cost), but that MF cuts deep…

I appreciate the help. There’s another Wrangler that will be arriving at a different dealership. It’s essentially the same as my op but the MF is .00237

While I appreciate the sentiment and love manuals, once you do the math on purchasing that vs leasing a 4xe … it’s going to cost you a lot more than you probably think.

Especially if you take this deal, which I assume includes them knocking your front teeth out for no additional charge?

I guess if it was meant to be, it’d be.

Would you suggest looking at a used one then?

This is a TERRIBLE time to lease or buy. The gift would be waiting 6 months…

My first suggestion, as others have said, would be to look at the 4xe. You can get into one of those for pennies on the dollar, especially in comparison to the vehicle in question here. I love manual as much as the next guy, but we to cut our wants at some point. I’m not terribly familiar with the Wrangler (used) market right now, but it is a horrible time to purchase used in general. Most vehicles are sitting at heavily inflated prices due to the current market.

Noted. Thanks all for the insight. It’s nice to hear from people other than the ones in our head.

No problem. I would really look into, or at least try to test drive a 4xe. I mean you can get an absolutely loaded Rubicon for less money than this Sport. Granted, they only come in automatic but the deal is certainly there.
