2021 Jaguar F-Type

I’ve been lurking around for a few years now since my last lease. The F-Types used to be pretty hot here but I haven’t seen much posted lately.

Has anyone been poking dealers recently to see how the discounts are? I didn’t see any Jaguar Brokers posting for up here in the NE so I figured I’d post.

According to Edmunds the Type R has $5650 Lease Cash on it at the moment with an MF of 0.0001. Might be able to work out some decent numbers. I’ll start sending my emails out on Monday.

The lease programs are nothing like they were 3-4 years ago, so don’t expect numbers even remotely similar.

FWIW if the lease numbers don’t make sense, these things are becoming pretty killer used car bargains.

The lease deals have been so bad this year that we’re jumping all over each other for Camaros and Bolts

I ended up buying out my lease since the numbers worked out due to the deals not being anything special. It is time to start poking around tho, unfortunately there aren’t many modern 2 doors to pick from.
The new e53 is really nice but the numbers on those will always stink.
Jag has really good RV but the MF sucks, I was hoping to hit a discount high enough to make up for it. Getting down to the low to mid 800s on a roughly 110k car would be acceptable for now.

You might have a look at the M850i. It’s not an M8 (but also not $1200+ per month), but still 523HP and 0-60 in 3.7 seconds with a ton of technology.

I too am hoping that Jaguar decides to overproduce the F-Type again soon, so we can see those killer lease deals again.

What is the current rv on the jag? I thought they had plummeted since a few years back (which is a big reason why the deals are way worse now)

At 36/10 up in NJ it’s:
380 - .00001 and 54%; $425 dealer lease cash
R - .00001 and 52%; $5650 dealer lease cash

Honestly, that’s better than I had expected and not a bad mf at all.

The m850 is a great car but I haven’t see any posts under 950 so for now it’s out of my range. I am watching it tho in case things change.

I’d be shocked if the R were in your range … what discount do you need to hit $850?

With the lease cash and such if I got 15-18% it would work. Stock being as limited as it is I’m doubting that will happen.

Do you think the weak lease programs are due to covid and they are going to rebound? Or is this more of an industry shift that was going to happen regardless?

dont waste your time.

None of the above. Specific to the f type, they totally dropped the ball with production volume and rv predictions when the car came out 3-4 years ago, so the lease programs were extraordinary at the time to clear inventory. The bank surely lost its shirt on tons of f types.

Oh I see. Thought you were referring to the lease market in general, which does seem to be a bit weaker compared to 3 years ago.

Wonder how many flame decals and stripes it will take to get that Bolt to Ftype levels until we get some more deals.

2021 F Type is a refresh. You are not getting 15-18% on an R right now.

Anybody know of specific deals recently on 2021 F-Types? I know the market is tight right now. But just curious about the specifics around any recent deals.

2021s are going for ~9-11% off

Deals on 2020s, but no jag lease support on those I believe. A few out there 25+% off.

Example: MSRP 122538, - selling $88,988

Yeah my initial research/reaching out isn’t proving to be very successful. $1,400/month+ is what dealers are throwing out there for F-Type Rs and they aren’t seeming to budge much.
