Can someone please help me with MMR for a 2021 Benz G63? And if there’s any for a 22?
Tia
219 w 7k miles on a 21. no 22s.
Are you trying to sell one? I noticed these were going 50k to 100k over MSRP not too long ago.
Market has softened a bit, but 22s are going for around that.
Have the opportunity to pick a 2022 for 200k+15k markup. MBUSA increased MSRP 23k from MY21 to MY22!. Will be trading in a 22 Taycan GTS. Looking for the lowest TCO over a year or 2. Thinking the GTS will drop faster in value but who knows…
thx, def softening fast.
oh yeah it’s real flaccid.
Is that (counts on fingers)15% gross on the front?
@Calvin.MB do MB dealers get a new fainting couch with each model year introduction?
LOL 15K markup is very good. Must be making on the Taycan
They are lil bit… about 7k less than what I can get from the usual sell to sites…but balances out on taxes.
if you got a 22 taycan gts, i can assure you it’s value isn’t going to drop, given that a) there’s no more taycan production until 2023, and b) gas is a million dollars a gallon. don’t think that gas prices don’t impact the g-wagen buyer.
Are people who spend 200k+ on a car really concerned about gas prices?
We saw a ferrari waiting in the costco gas line in the meme lounge the other day. Small things like that probably aid in their quest of a 200k car, but I mostly agree w you
Yes to some degree
You don’t know anyone who spends beyond their means?
On a 200k dollar car, though? That’s a little beyond “means.”
Anecdotal of course, but most people I see over spending don’t make anywhere near enough to convince a bank to finance a 200k dollar exotic or super car.
Yes, I’ve known people like this.
They’ll take a one-time windfall and buy something outrageous, and then when [stocks, crypto, real estate] collapses, they have nothing left.
Also, a regular installment auto loan is probably the least creative way to finance something like that.
So you would bet on the GTS over the G63? I feel like the GTS will stay higher because of the issues you mentioned above but will drop when those get fixed. Plus Porsche started making cheap(er) base RWD Taycans. However the G63 has always been higher regardless off the market. U happen to have MMR for the 22 GTS? I doubt any have gone through yet.
none have gone through b/c the car is brand new for 2022. a few 4s’s have gone around $20k higher than avg msrp.
Thx, I’ll prolly keep the GTS for now then.
