I mean sure we could get a vehicle fit for only 5 passengers with a great lease deal, but kids tend to fight / need space when being crammed in the backseat for 1hour day trips.
Like you said I do feel like i’m trying to lift a boulder uphill…
I dunno maybe I’m wrong, is there a good lease deal for a 5 passenger SUV that can fit 3 kids comfortably in the back?
“What 3 row SUVs lease well” is debated, at length, regularly (TL;DR it’s probably a Highlander or an XC90):
Hey guys looking to get some feedback on possible avenues here…
I’ve seen the feedback 100 times where when someone asks for a full sized 3 row suv deal or feedback. The answer is almost always get a minivan . While I understand that the suburban,Yukon etc lease terribly — considering the current market, I’m going to likely just purchase one. Obviously, this being a leasing focused site, there isn’t a ton of information around known good dealers or any brokers that would facilitat…
Hey Hackers!
My wife and I need a 3row SUV, we’d like to get one by the end of November this year. I have a deposit on the Rivian R1SUV, however, that keeps getting delayed so we need something to cover us over for 6-12 months until the R1S comes out or we might keep the lease long-enough until there are other 3-row fully electric options.
I thought the best option is to lease a 3-row SUV that I could sell-off 6-12 months later to Carvana, Shift, etc. to minimize the damage in cost over that p…
Wife and I are expecting our first baby in August. We currently have a 2020 M340i (not exactly “family friendly” given that our 60 pound dog sits on the back seat where the car seat is supposed to go), and have been sharing 1 car since our other car’s lease ended during the pandemic (perfect timing actually).
We really want the Volvo XC90, but I’m considering waiting for the 2022 models to come out. I was thinking I’ll take over a lease on another SUV while we wait, but there isn’t much out the…
My comment on a similar thread in June seems to still apply (be sure to click the chevron on the right-side to expand):
This is ultimately the problem with these threads: what leases well may not work for you, for any number of reasons.
What’s leasing well in this segment is a list so small it fits on a gum wrapper (why waste a post-it?)
As far as the merits of each 3-row suv:
This ancient recap I wrote 26 days ago (we were all so young and vibrant, during the salad days of May)
And so many others if you search.
Ultimately you need to pick something your wife likes and will drive, and do your best on the lease. This is the most desirable vehicle type in the US, at the absolute worst time in history to buy/lease. No easy answer here unfortunately.
