2021 CLS450 Lease

Hello, I am new to Leasehackr and like many people I have made some pretty stupid decisions with out seeking advice and thinking I know it all. My lease on my current mercedes will be up in a few months so I started pricing out new models I sent over a custom build to a few dealers to see I’m just curious to see how this deal looks.

(Due at signing is 2,000 not the amount showed)

@AutoCompanion is worth checking out.

Thank you, I will send them a message.

The biggest piece of advice I can give is this:

Talking to dealers is for finding someone to do your deal, not for finding out what a car should lease for. If you ask them how much they want you to pay, expect to get an answer that they are happy with.

The best thing you can do in your quest for getting the best deal and setting yourself up for success in negotiations is to do your homework ahead of time. If you find yourself with a dealer offer in front of you and you’re wondering if it’s a good deal or not, you have gotten out over your skis.

That means researching the current lease programs (rv/mf/incentives from edmunds) and researching comparable deals to determine a target pre-incentive discount then plugging that in to the calculator. Being armed with that information gives you a much more solid foundation for your search. After all, how can one effectively negotiate if you don’t even know where you’re trying to go?
