Finally jumped on a truck deal after extending our current Sierra month to month since February. Costco $1k rebate plus the additional $1500 for returning Sierra/Silverado lease helped out big time. The ending Sierra lease is $202/mo, but those days are obviously long gone. Up until June, even the base model custom versions were leasing for over $350/mo. This model, the LT with 2FL package were built for rental fleet, but due to shortages some dealers were able to swindle some inventory.
Honestly, the 2.7 turbo 4 is quicker off the line and everyday driving than the previous V8 in our Sierra. Plus we wanted the crew cab to accommodate the growing kids, so it was a win-win. Not to mention selling the Sierra to Vroom for a near $7k positive equity check.
