I’m not sure what other information I need to insert but I’m having a hard time for this.
What are you looking for here? The msrp? What your target price is?
What kind of vehicle are you even discussing? Googling the vin doesn’t bring up any listings.
I’m sorry, the target price, I will include the link:
What have you found for target pre-incentive discounts when looking through comparable MB deals in the shared deals and marketplace sections of the site?
I’m seeing that brokers are able to provide pre-negotiated deals of 10-12% off. I was wondering what the actual price of the vehicle was because they are discounting it but I want to maximize the discount while they still are able to retain profit. I understand that the invoice price is what the vehicle is purchased for, and was trying to get that number so that I can use it to make calculations.
If you think invoice means anything, you need to take a step back and read Leasing 101 and anything else you can regarding smart car negotiating. Or just use a broker.
Why are you trying to do this? Did you read that stupid carbuyingtips website where they came up with some overly complicated BS about some random percent over true cost (which isn’t actually true cost) that totally ignores what the market actually dictates?
You’ve found comparable deals that suggest that 10% pre-incentive is a reasonable target. There’s no need to further complicate things here.
Thank you for your help. I will do so
Okay, thank you for your help. I will do so
Don’t make this harder for yourself by reinventing the wheel. Lease hacking takes some effort as it is.
Target the pre-incentive discount you find in Shared Deals and Marketplace sections
Banish terms like “invoice” and “dealer cost” from your vocabulary
Yes you’re right, I’m sorry. I honestly think I overcomplicated matters and after taking your advice and the advice of others I now understand. Thank you for your input, I appreciate it
No worries… so what model and trim are you looking at?
The 2021 C300 4matic. It has the AMG line and premium package in black interior and exterior. The MSRP is 48,870. The MF is .00043 and the residual is 56%. With a 6% sales tax and for a 36month/10k mile term I was able to get to 506 a month (this is without the registration though which he said may be an additional $10). This is if I put $2,500 down. I have considered doing the 39 month in order to lower the monthly cost a little bit, what do you think?
What do the numbers come out to if you run them with a 10% pre-incentive discount?
I will plug that in now. Do you happen to know how I can identify dealer and government fees for Mercedes Benz in Michigan?
A lot of dealers will list their dealer fees on their websites and you can generally find a breakdown of government fees on your local dmv site. You can also ask the dealer you already have a quote from. There probably won’t be much variation.
Thank you for pointing that out. I am getting about 511, so there’s only an approximate 10 dollar variance (it seems that the price they gave me without title and registration is how much I am getting after all included fees). Hopefully this is a good deal
What is their selling price?
$48,870 is the selling price
That’s the msrp. What is the selling price.
