2021 bmw X5 lease deal help

, ,

Hello all, first post on leasehackr as I am new.
I’m looking to lease a 2021 x5, that I have built. Spoke to a few dealerships in NY and NJ. Basically 10k miles a year 36 months trying to put down the minimum (taxes, fees). Without much negotiation yet after reaching out to about 6 or so dealerships. The best number I got was $5700 down $858 a month. MSRP was $77,845 and they said they dropped it to $70,470 with incentives and knocking 4k off the msrp. I think there is still a lot of room and a much better deal out there. Please help and let me know what is my best next move.
Thanks in advance.

First and foremost, talking numbers with the dealer is for finding someone to do your target deal; you need to establish what that is first.

You’ll want to start by heading to the edmunds forums and asking for rv/mf/incentive information for your zip code. Then, do a bit of reading here to figure out a target pre-incentive discount. Putting that all together in the calculator will let you know what a good target deal actually is. With that, you can start focusing on how to get there.

Alternatively, there are some great brokers here that offer very reasonable prices and can do custom bmw orders.

Thank you for the information I’ll look into that now. And if I can find a broker that’s be awesome I reached out to a few and haven’t heard any responses yet.

There is really no such thing as a minimum DAS (credit issues aside).

Also: not seeing any indication in your post that you’ve learned basic stuff like how to calculate a lease payment. All you’ve done is repeat a quote someone gave you.

Assuming you looked at the market place section and some of the posted deals there? A lot of good brokers on this site.
