This is a bit of a nuanced deal. I just wrapped up 23 months on my 36 month 2019 M5 Competition deal. LOVE the car; best car I have ever owned. Get a call from my dealer last week offering to buy off my lease and offered me 5% off a 2021 custom build M5. After checking with missus, I “said yes” and got to building the next perfect car (images below). Not a great deal but I was itching to get a black car (favorite color) with two options that were missing on my current car - full leather and Bowers and Wilkins stereo.

Is the 2019 buyout a true clean buyout? What’s the current dealer payoff and what is your dealer offering to pay? Make sure they are not rolling anything into the new lease.
The rest of your deal is impossible to evaluate because you are missing key details. What is MF? Res? Build it out in the calculator.
Did you price out offers from Carvana, Vroom, etc.? Figure out what your car is worth to other dealers to confirm deal payoff you have here.
I know Sharif. However, I have known my dealer and my CA for a long time and have done a bunch of deals with them where they have been awesome. It was just easier to keep everything under one negotiation umbrella Also, don’t have a bunch of time to shop around.
Thank you! Now the wait begins. My dealer horse traded with a dealership out east to get a favorable allocation. Car is supposed to arrive mid April. Let us see.
This makes sense, I don’t mind it and find the now lane centering to be awesome but I can see the dislike aesthetically, hey at least we didn’t end up with an m5 like this …
