Discount? Incentives? MF and Residual used to calculate payment?

Doesn’t sound great but you provided us no info. Generally speaking you’re not going to get a good deal on a new model.

What was the discount before incentives (I think theres only $500 loyalty)? MF? Residual?l

I did a quick calculation, and if I’m right, this is probably about 7.5% off MSRP.

Payment is the output of the leasing equation. You need the inputs to properly evaluate this.

Thanks for the quick replies.

$500 Lease credit
$750 Loyalty credit

MF .00082
Residual 57%

Thanks again

Sales price?

Sales price is unknown. I guess I can determine it based on the lease price and other data

All of the specific details as to how the number was arrived at would certainly be helpful to evaluating this deal, but in my opinion the output value (the payment) is so high for that car that it may not be worth spending the time to dig up the specifics. Unless of course this is a car that you really really want, and then at that point it is a subjective decision rather than an objective one, and there’s nothing wrong with that for a car.

What number should I shoot for on this car based on the info provided ?

10-11% pre-incentive at buy rate would be great target

Thanks,

I’ll work with these numbers. Appreciate the help.

Yup…I was just going to suggest that 10% would be the minimum, but I would suspect the real goal might be 12. Based on the deal the dealer gave you upfront, you are nowhere near that right now. If you get closer to the target you should be $150 plus less per month. It looks like you are now around 825 a month effective payment…I would think mid to upper 600s would be more feasible.

The question would then be at that point…is the car worth that type of payment compared to competitive offerings, which of course is a question only the buyer can answer.

If that’s the lease program BMW is providing, it’s going to be a terrible lease regardless of whether you squeeze another couple % on the sales price

Paltry incentives
Middling MF
Audi-esque RV

Why would you even ask for feedback on a deal you don’t even know what the sale price is?

And since it’s FL, the dealer fees are probably up there. OP has a long way to go to close any/the gaps

I just signed a deal for a $72,940 MSRP fully loaded one. 798 a month. Incentives where 750 off, and military 500 off for a total of 1250. 36m/10k. Taxes and DMV fees upfront totalling 4400, since im In NY im a county with high taxes.
Not the best deal imo, but not worst, I would say right in the middle. I usually do much much better in leases. But was car I wanted, inventory was very limited with specific specs I was looking for (Maybe due to covid), and its a brand new model for this year. However at the end of the day overall happy I got the car I wanted in Tanzanite blue with all the goodies.
So I say with this car AS OF NOW (Maybe next year much better deals) the offer you got its not the best, but if you want the car, those are the payments this car its going for.

How much off MSRP were you able to get off on this car? I’m looking at the same car. I was going to come at 10% off.

I agree. people have these magical numbers of 10% off but that does not apply to certain models like the convertible. nobody was doing 10% off… everyone wanted $ 1000 over or $ 500 over and I got $ 1000 under after 3-4 dealers and got tired of the run around and figured it was probably ok for a convertible where allocations are hard to come by… and the payment is not cheap but a car thats $ 71k is not gonna have a cheap payment no matter how you slice it. if you want a cheap payment get a kia is my advice to people who keep complaining about the price ( not referring to the OP or anyone in this thread, just in general).
