Cognac is not available on the X5.
Have to go to X7 with captains chairs.
Only way to get Cognac or Tartufo leather in those cars.
According to BMW it’s 1/10 sec faster 0-60 than the xDrive
If you don’t plan to drive to the mountains in the winter or you live in the south, southwest, southern cal then it makes more sense. And it’s more fun to drive. Same goes for the 3 and 5 series, BMW originally introduced xDrive in the sedans for winter applications, otherwise, the traditional BMW rear wheel drive is more fun to drive and track.

Just wanted to update everyone on my deal. Ran into a problem when dealer tried to build my X5. Long story short MSRP increased do to leather seat with 3rd row. Current deal below.

Residual: 55% (hoping this increase by couple points at delivery)

Why would it increase? Did your original build remove the 3rd row seat option when you selected cognac?
Cognac not available with 3rd row which is no up charge. So your forced to pick a leather interior color. It’s a glitch in BMWUSA system.

So 11.8% discount and base MF pre-rebates/OL… I’m not one of the certified hackers here, but we just got a 2019 X5 in August and that looks pretty good to me
Wanted to get your thoughts. Before signing my above deal, I went back and built an X5 with an M package and 3rd row. MSRP increased by $700. Dealer is now playing hardball and won’t change anything on our previous build even if I’m willing to pay more a month. Think I should walk away and wait for Oct rates and start over next month?
I contacted several other dealers in the area with no success as well.
