2020 X2 loaner - xDrive28i

,

I just got a 2020 XC60 a few weeks ago, and now I am working on a 2nd car.

2020 X2 xDrive28i - Loaner w/ 3000 miles
MSRP - $43,xxx
Payment - $395/month (9% tax included)
Terms - 36 month/10K
DAS - 1st month + dealer fees ($595) + MSDs ($2800)
Incentives: BMWFS ($1250) + Corporate Program ($1000)

RV/MF are checked out.

Still thinking if there is any room to go deeper.

What do you guys think?

What is the pre-incentive selling price?

I knew you would ask!

It was around 16% discount given pre-incentives.

16% pre-incentive on a loaner is already good. You could push for more, but you are unlikely to get much.

Ahhh thanks for letting me know!

This is going to be my first loaner lease from BMW. What are the common issues with leasing the current ‘active’ loaner? Do you have any insight?

I am going to check out the body for any damages, interior and make sure there are enough rubber on the tires.

Have not leased an active BMW loaner, but I do have (what is now a full-term loaner) S60. Check rims for curb-rash, dents, etc. Just me, but I always check the infotainment display for service intervals (in case they changed the oil early and used up one of your complementary oil changes). Most likely not, but you never know. Also, why the X2 over something like an XC40? I haven’t driven an X2, but the XC40 is way ahead of the X1 when I test-drove both.

Thanks! Yes, checking rims for curb-rash, dents are on my list to check.

To be honest, I don’t know why I picked X2. I poked a dealer and they bite the deal. I wanted a MINI Cooper S, and already have a deal on the table that I was going to sign over the weekend, but then X2 is on my way now.

Fully loaded MINI Cooper S (new) - very similar numbers as X2.

It’s the most important piece of the puzzle

Not a good value for a barebones subcompact IMO

The Mini Cooper would be a hell of a lot more fun to drive.

I totally agree with you on this. Surprisingly, X2 has somewhat ‘good’ list of standard equipment than X1. I am still researching before I pull this trigger.

Yes, I had a non-turbo MINI cooper nearly a decade ago, and it was fun to drive.
The new 2020 MINI cooper S has 189 hp as standard, and I can easily hook up a $500 ECU tuning to get extra 30 hp easy!
