I was deployed for some time and now I am looking to lease a car.
I have the following offer from the dealer but I was unable to get full details. I will attempt to get full details and post but this is what I have so far.
2020 Toyota XLE
Term: 36 Months
Milage: 10,000
MSRP: $30,501
Sales Price: $27,462
Military Discount: $500
Dealer rebate: $1000
Driveoff: $0
Monthly Payment: $236/month / 36 months
Total cost: 8,496
Total buyout after lease: $18,966
Thank you.
I think I can get him lower as this is just the online displayed price and I have not gone to the dealer yet.
Donât go in, continue to gets quotes from other dealers. Ask for MF and compare to edmunds. You can probably score a great deal right now, just find the dealer thatâs the most desperate
I just checked edmunds and it suggests that the sales price should be $26,693. I can see if I can squeeze another $1000 off the MSRP. Right now based off other posts I see this as a pretty good deal. I want to find out what the MF is right now
You should get an answer from experts here. Looks like a good deal to me. Thinking to get Camry nightshade as a commuter and best I get in mass is 240$ with 2k drive off, 28k msrp
âThe national programâ is not good. I suspect based on the text that this âquoteâ does not include taxes, registration, fees, etc. Ask him for a full breakdown like this. What he is sending you is garbage.

Then do your own calculation and make sure that all the numbers line up.
Look at Marketplace for competitive deals and use those as a benchmark.
your gov/local fees probably included in your due at signing. But definitely ask what the DAS covers.
I think this is a decent deal and I also think you can squeeze about $700-$1k more out of it.
Go ask for $0 drive offs and put down multiple security deposits. With your current deal, if you structured it this way, it would be $239 with $2,250 down (MSD).
Lol. Iâm sure it did. Check their inventory I bet they have about 20. This seems like a big game and I bet he forgot to take the rebate out of the selling price initially. Still guessing youâre going to get hit with more DAS once he âremembersâ to add DMV fees, etc.
My advise is to create your own lease offer and send it out to every dealer in your region.
Yes he was upfront about it being before taxes and fees. Iâm going to try to get him to go down to $0 down including taxes and fees. at $255 for the XLE and it seems pretty golden ?
