2020 Ram 1500 Big Horn Crew Cab

Hey hackers. I’m working with a salesman in 83401 zip code. He’s currently working with the sales manager to see if he can get this deal worked out for me. How’s this look? This is my first lease. The MF and RS are from another Ram dealer that I worked with yesterday. Unfortunately, someone purchased that truck from under us.

MSRP $49,355
Selling Price: $44,611 (9.6% off MSRP)
42/10
RV: 53%
MF: .0005 (Edmunds quoted me .00003 for my area)
DAS: 0
Taxed Incentives: $2,750 ($4,000 if I don’t finance through Chyrstler)
Monthly Payment with Tax: $460
LeaseHackr Score: 9.4 years.

Any feedback is great! I feel pretty good, but I’m an amateur.

InB4 any tundra Tacoma recommendations.

You look like you did your HW. How’s this compare to other deals you’ve seen, and what’s the warranty situation? If there is mf markup, that’s a profit center.

Are there any markup fees (nitro, window etch, etc)?

Haha, I’ve considered Tundras, but the dealers here are bone dry on them. They are all top level trim or not discounted at all.

I’ve looked around on the forums here, but can’t find any recent deals. I know incentives are the greatest right now, so it’s hard to compare. I didn’t think to ask about a warranty. I honestly assumed it was the same as a purchase warranty. First time leaser, so I’m sure I’m wrong.

No mark-up fee’s, as I can tell. I haven’t seen the paperwork yet as I just got off the phone with him for all the numbers. He’s fighting for that last $500 to hit the purchase price I’m asking for.

Both his finance managers called in sick today, so we can’t run this dealer’s finance options until tomorrow morning. Gives me time to cross-check everything.

Discount for a ram is pretty good - I’d check to see what other lenders offer.

That looks like Chrysler Capital - Ally is the lender for RAMs.

Yessir. Chyrsler Capital is where I got the .00003 MF from. Ally was 6%, which kills the price.

Ally probably has 4-6k more rebate(s)

They do, but even with those, the 6% APR blows the monthly payment up.

I got a Laramie last month MSRP $59500 for 500+tax with first month due at signing. 36/10.

They went thru ally as the rebates ended up being worth the higher rate.

Last months Laramies leases better than big horn. Not sure about this month tho

Oh man. A Laramie would be nice! I had a pretty firm cutoff at $470 a month and I just wasn’t able to fit a Laramie within that with what I could find. I don’t sign until tomorrow, so I’ll keep digging!

I am trying right now on s Big Horn born to serve. The dealer discount is close to the best I’m seeing in my area(right at 10% is most that’s been offered). My zip Chrysler numbers are very close to yours on a 42/10, 52% and .00008. 55% and .00003 on a 36/10. Looks like the dealer may be marking up your rate 3/4% or so. The IDL cash is good but like you said a 6% rate nearly equals the same payment. Plus US Bank and Ally have higher residuals which could potentially put you in a negative situation. If you plan on completing your term and turning it in that is not as much of a factor but I have bought my last 5 leases out and made decent money on reselling 4 of them and slicked on the 5th. Make sure you check the realtor, ffa, military, homebuilder association and various other $500 or $1000 potential incentives you may qualify for

Maybe keep shopping? I was able to get a $52k Bighorn for $375 with $375 total drive off 10k 36 months through Chrysler financial. Best I could find in 3 states!
