2020 Murano Lease

Afternoon all - My first lease ever is expiring within the next 3 months.

2017 Maxima -3 year lease with 45K miles. Currently @ 25k

I am looking to go into a Murano 2020 Should be fine with 12K - Trying to see how much I will be spending - 3 most important Items for me - Leather - Sunroof - AWD- The Max is too small now as my family is still growing… SV/SL should do it.

Looking for estimates and anything else that could be helpful before i head to the dealer…

Thanks

Figure out exactly what you should be paying before contacting the dealer, then negotiate everything via email. Going to the dealer is for signing paperwork and taking delivery on the deal you already agreed to.

Use the search function to see other deals on Muranos. Dont “head into the dealer”… contact dealers through email and get a deal set up before going in to sign. Read up on Leasing 101. Also check the value of your current lease with Carvana, Vroom, Carmax, etc… you may have positive equity and could sell to them.

Did you search the Marketplace?

No but I will

there is a negative chance that the maxima has any equity in it.

Agreed not likely

I have been ready many post regarding bad leases specifically murano and Kia telliride.

What is the best lease option for a suv at the moment ?

Safety is a number 1 then comes the tech

You need to search more on here. Plenty of decent Murano deals on here. Telluride is still pretty new and doesnt lease that well.

There’s no real answer for the “best SUV lease” at any time this is asked. Everything that comprises a “good lease” has so many factors that go into it:

  • market, i.e. discounts
  • time of year
  • incentives available (including loyalty or conquest, which vary too and a lease can be very different when one has one or the other and someone else does not)
  • lease terms available in particular market (MF, residual, etc.)
  • if a dealer is motivated on a particular car for any reason

Therefore, car X may be a great option for person A, but it may be a horrible lease for person B for any number of factors.

Okay ty! :+1:

It’s all subjective. Look through the marketplace for deal ideas and then decide where you want to go from there. Topics like this aren’t really necessary because everyone has their own opinions

Xc90 is your friend

I think I got raped with this deal and just want to know what I should of done better next time.
I just turned in a 2017 Rogue SL AWD put only $1,350 due at signing with payment of $385.88.
Just got into this new lease for 2020 Murano SL AWD fully loaded MSRP $43,105 Executive Demo with 590 miles. Only problem it had no Moon Roof which would have been a deal breaker for my wife. I initially got a quoted for this $389 with only $1,000 down. Too good to be true. When I notice no Moon Roof the shit hit the fan. Now quote on new vehicle MSRP $44,775 $429 with $1,000. I thought I was getting a deal. Initially he wanted me to come out of pocket with the $9,304.95, I said no way get me back in my previous car crunching numbers raped for $3,854.95 and payment of $429 for $36 months 12k per year. Sent attached contract - What do you think Raped or good deal? 20200206_103034|507x500

In addition to all the financial aspects you listed, there’s also the car itself. While the Telluride and Murano can have a similar MSRP, I don’t really consider them to be in the same class (and obviously the Telluride is much, MUCH newer).

Is the cap cost reduction all from a down payment? If so, then, yes, that’s a terrible deal.

This deal is absolutely atrocious.

You’re not going to remember any of today’s advice in 39 months. Ask before signing next time.

I agree now that it’s too late. What could I have done different for a future purchase. I have another lease ending in July and definitely don’t want to get rape twice.

Yes it was and I’m so pissed right now. How can I avoid this in future?

Totally agree. Is there anything I could do now? I believe there is a 14 day clause regarding cancelling a deal. Is this correct?
