I asked for numbers on a base 2020 Lexus ES350 and been shopping it around in S.FL.
I spoke to someone later in the day today and this guy was trying to sell me on a $494 dollar payment tax in, so when I asked him for the sale price he changed his tune. From there he lowered to $460 something until he settled on the $439 tax in. I asked for zero down but somehow I am still bring $2600 to cover fees which I think is where he is trying to make his money, then he sent me the lease sheet and he is actually marking up the MF.
so the deal is as follows:
36/12
MSRP: 42,190
Sale: 35,406.02
Payment: $434 tax in
RV: 51%
MF: .00010 from original .0010 he started with .001
Fees: $2600
I’ve attached my calculator, which currently says $1400 for fees, I feel like he is marking up somewhere but I don’t know from where.
Im attaching the lease sheet and his scribbles too…
That’s an expensive Camry. J/k. Have you asked Edmunds for the MF and know what incentives you qualify for?
You are killing me!!!
Yep.
.00001 and 51%
$2500 lease cash
You’re in FL so maybe this is par for the course. How many dealerships have you reach out to?
this is my 3rd one and the best offer I’ve received-
I had one quote me $488 % $37K Sales price and another at $445 @ $38K sales price
I will be driving up to Ft. Myers this weekend, might hit them up and see what they have now that I have Miami rates and payments. Crossing my fingers they are about 10-15 dollars better.
Just email them now. In the meantime push on the selling price your lowest quote.
Will do, Thank you! I will report back next week.
Other may be able to chime in on what an achievable discount is in the market.
I did recently leased one for myself. I live in NJ but the dealer is from out of state (vehicle was delivered to me).
Even though it is not a great deal but might be useful as a reference.
2020 Lexus ES 350
MSRP: $45,785.00
Lease term: 36/10,000
DAS: First-month payment of $465 (including tax)
Lexus Loyalty included.
I didn’t shop around much as Carvana offered $3000 more than the payoff for my 2018 Lexus ES 350 and immediately accepted it.
Thanks! this is actually a good reference point. a few tweaks here and there but I can def use it when I am negotiating this deal. Thanks again.
