Hello everyone. This is my first time posting so please bear with me. I am interested in leasing a 2020 lexus ES 300h base model w/ premium package or a ES 300h luxury. I was wondering if anyone knew the RV and MF for either of those models either in NYC or Philly.
Oh I think I was supposed to mention 36/12.
Edmunds…
Edmunds forums is going to be your go to place for RV and MF. Make sure you’re actually in the Lexus section.
I posted there I don’t think anyone replied. I’ll try again.
I’m seeing an average reply rate of about 1 day. PM me if you need direct link (to make sure you’re posting in the right place)
So I am negotiating a lease and this is what I was offered:
$636.03 a month with 0 down 10 k miles on a 36 month lease.
This is the break down:
MSRP: $49,345
Dealer price:$47,345
RV: 53%
MF: 0.00020
When I put the numbers in the calculator I got a monthly payment of 626
Please let me know what you think and if I am missing any information.
Honestly, this is soo bad, I’d just say walk away and go to another dealer.
If you really wanted to make it work, you:
- need 12 % discount BEFORE incentives
- Confirm incentives from Edmunds and apply to this lease
- Use MSDs to bring MF down to practically 0
What numbers are you targeting based on current lease programs and pre-incentive discounts from comparable deals you researched?
If you actually check on Lexus own website, lease cash in NY area is 3000 and Loyalty is additional 1500
Can you help me understand why this is bad? The 12% discount is off the MSRP? The incentives I got were 2,000 dealer discount, 1,750 manufacturers rebate. The dealer said “As per New York State security deposits are not allowed” is that the same thing as MSDs?
What more should I ask for and more importantly how do I ask for this? “I asked some folks and they told me this deal is bad and I should walk away?”
Thanks for the help!
I was looking for something along the lines of 500 a month? I was offered 1,750 lexus cash on the lease and 2,000 dealers discount from the dealer I just posted.
I talked to another dealership on the phone and they offered me a lease for 685 a month, and when I asked them about MF, cap costs and RV values they basically said I shouldn’t worry about it and that they cant give me a better deal and essentially wouldn’t budge. Is that normal?
Can the 3,000 lexus cash be combined with the 1,750 lease cash? It seems like it is either one or the other. Unfortunately I don’t qualify for the loyalty since I don’t own an lexus.

Check out ur local offers.
Thanks. I looked it up. They were giving 449/month with 3999 down and 1750 lease cash. Would it be reasonable to ask the dealer to roll over the 3999 into the monthly payment? Also it doesn’t include fees and taxes.
dealer discount is not an incentive. And 2K (~4%) is a joke. You need atleast 10% and then stack the rebates on top
Dude, im sorry, but ur not ready to be leasing right now. I’d say talk to a broker in your in your area.
website or dealer ads are useless. don’t even bother reading them.
Ask for 12% discount. And then add incentives. Move on to a different dealer if they don’t bite. If you can’t find any place for a 12% discount, it might be due to market conditions. Consider a broker
Why am I not ready to be leasing? I have a budget, I am just trying to get the best deal. I admit I am new at this but I am trying to learn which is why I am hoping this forum will help me figure things out.
