Hello Everyone, So I’ve been shopping around for a grand Cherokee limited x I’ve come upon multiple quotes. This seems to be the most aggressive I’ve gotten from a dealership. Can all of you experts please take a look and guide me on the next steps.
Is it possible to get a better selling price on this vehicle or are they not being upfront about something.
Thank you all for your input!!!
Get rid of that $2000 DAS - roll it all in.
Did you verify on Edmunds that MF being used is the base rate?
Deal seems pretty decent if it’s at base MF. Roughly 10% discount and no adds. Is it possible to get more? Who knows. Only way you can find out is by asking every dealer in your region.
Thank you! I’ve tried to get them to do at least 1000 DAS but they won’t budge from that.
So far that’s the best I’ve gotten from any dealer in the area. Also yes that is the base MF for 36/10 confirmed with Edmunds.
You can structure a deal however you want. Roll the DAS into the term. Rent charge is practically nothing.
What do you mean I’m not understanding?
You tell the dealer how much you want to do for DAS. They can structure the lease however. It will increase the monthly payment accordingly, but there should be no issues with rolling the das in.
You are getting a pre-incentive discount which works out to around 5% below invoice. This is pretty decent but the target is usually 7% below invoice for FCA, which means you got another $1500 in the trunk here. Not a bad deal but still room to improve, I would press the dealer for more of a discount, since we know they are holding out.
The $5000 in rebates is nice, make sure you have uncovered all possible rebate options, including private select offers, vin specific offers, penfed, truecar and USAA.
Although, something doesn’t strike me as quite legit with this offer. I don’t see any accounting for dealer fees, government fees, lease acquisition fee (etc). If it’s legit it beats all the current RODO deals.
Also, the WK2 is in it’s last model year, the WL will be available maybe as soon as 4Q. Make sure you will be happy driving around in an old model for 3 years.
Looks Good, just, just Get rid of that $2000 DAS (roll it all in).
