2020 Jaguar F type P340 Coupe

Hi all, went to the dealership yesterday looking to make a deal on a 2020 F type 340 Coupe. Its a custom spec car that should arrive in 3 months. The dealer was willing to apply this months lease rates and incentives.

Here are the details:

MSRP 76820
Negotiated 70585
11% sales tax (Philadelphia :pensive:)
0 down but need to pay first months lease and other fees
56% residual (36/10)
0.00015 MF
890/month

They said they can’t go any lower. I unfortunately didn’t negotiate purchase price separately from the current cash incentive (Edmunds says $3500), so it was all rolled into that negotiated price. Base MF is 0.00001, but they won’t drop that either. Do you think I can do better on a custom built 2020 model? I was hoping to get down to the 750-800/month range.

Stay away from that deal

Discount is gross

Call MA based dealers and you’ll save a bundle

Glad I walked away! Thanks for the quick reply. They balked when I said I needed at least 10% off msrp plus the lease cash incentive.

Even 10 won’t do it

Give some Jag dealers in Massachusetts a call. They’ll be good to you so long as they have inventory

Will they offer good discounts off msrp on custom built cars? I quickly looked through the inventory on 3 dealerships in that area and no one has quite what I’m looking for. Huge discounts on the 2018 models but I’d prefer to build a 2020. I’ll call them tomorrow and see what they can offer.

Builds will not be as aggressive, no.

Yeah, for most any car, there is going to be some amount of premium for a custom build. If $ matters, it is almost always better to try and find something in stock that will work.

Thanks guys, $ matters but I’m pretty set on a 2020 340 Coupe in Portofino Blue with style 6003 wheels. I could not find one out in the wild. Close examples I found online have have more options than I need with msrp prices around 80-83k. I can probably negotiate a better % off msrp but end up with a similar monthly payment.
