Hi all I am about to get into a new lease, here are the figures they gave me any thoughts on if this is a good deal or not? Thanks in advance.
Hi all,
Trying to get into a new lease. here are the terms I was given after a lot of back and forth. Anyone know if this is decent or not? Also I am located in Upstate NY (Syracuse)
2020 honda accord sport 2.0T 12/36k
msrp - 31990
discount - 3369
sale price - 28,621
acquisition fee - 595
cap taxes - 1059.56
gross cap cost - 29,216
residual - .58
residual amount - 18,554.20
advance payment 367.91
Final monthly payment 367.91
Any input would be great!
Any incentives? Or does the discount include it?
Just first months due at signing?

yeah just 1st month and then dmv and plates. they told me the discount includes all incentives and rebates. i tried to get them to add the $500 honda incentive after sales prices but they wouldnt do it.
Then no, it’s a mediocre deal. I’d shoot for a 10-12% pre-incentives discount with a base MF. You should find out the base MF on edmunds to make sure they aren’t marking it up
Edit: I’m saying 10-12% is a good, realistic deal. You can try to push for more and there has been “unicorns.”
yeah ideally I thought I could get it pushed to 28k even for a sale price but they are not budget and the other dealerships in my area are being real tight. not sure if with everything going on they are just trying to not lose their ass.
my current lease is up early June but I don’t know the best route to take.
Have you considered expanding your search to dealerships outside of your city and asking them to beat this offer?
Definitely should try to be below $28k selling price.
If i get it slightly below or at $28k would it be a decent deal?
Nothing you can do but negotiate selling price and make sure nothing is sneaked into the cap cost. 27-28k is a good price for this car.
