What was the discount before rebates?

The MSRP is $40,215 and the sold it to me for 38,408.01 before rebates.

Usually the goal is 10% off before incentives, and always verify the MF is at buy rate

Any breakdown of the $7500 in incentives?

Looks like a good deal, in line with mine in CA. I got a 2020 Terrain Denali, MSRP $45k, for $1k drive off, and $342+tax per month, 36 months, 10k miles…

Two incentives were used, General Moters recent grad supplier pricing, and a 2k competitive lease rebate.

What does money factor at buy rate mean?

MF is basically the interest the bank is charging. Buy rate means that the dealer isn’t marking up the mf to make more money on the back end. Some dealers will offer a larger discount on the selling price, but make up the difference (or more) by charging a higher interest rate.
