I am eligible for an employee discount because one of my family members is a manager at a Ford manufacturer, but I don’t know how much it could affect the price.

Discount is very weak. I am not sure if it is because it is a hybrid SUV that follows the small discounts of the RAV4 hybrid or not. Have you looked into the non-hybrid versions? Edmunds has higher residuals and lease cash on them with most likely a larger discount.

I’m taking an AP World exam right now so this will be brief, this is bad. Discount is poor, MF is high, no MSDs is bad, and have you confirmed MF/RV through forum.edmunds.com for the lease calculator?

Checking on Edmunds, it is unfortunate to report that above 4% is the going rate on these, hybrid or non-hybrid.

Even worse, no MSDs on NY. Oof. If you are looking to pay $435 for a car, try a Volvo! I am sure somebody like @aronchi can get near this.

I mean, just get something else at this point, I have to make this brief, you ccan get close to a 40k XC40 for this much.

Some people like their happy cars…

well that looks horrible

Note that dealer ads are a very poor representation of what you could actually get the vehicle for.

Hopefully by the end of this year i’ll be able to get a better price and more discounts and rebates will be available. Thanks for the help!!

Is that Lightning McQueen?

I didn’t even see the ad. I just thought it was the car.

I don’t see any reason why you couldn’t get a better price today.

Only thing that I could think of for Ford is the Memorial Day sale, but I think you could get a good deal on a non-hybrid.

Sure, those would both help, but in this case the dealer discount is $600. I really can’t imagine that’d be hard to improve on, at least a bit.

i love you man.

Happy to help the hard-working and reputable people on this forum.

This is a crap quote, ask for the employee pricing and get a quote for a non hybrid model too, it almost never makes sense to lease the hybrid version.
