2020 E450 RWD coupe

Hey Guys.
Negotiating a E 450 2020 Coupe in Texas.
MSRP: 73xxx
Selling Price: 68xxx
3K Tax credit.
36M/10K payment 922 with 2.5K down.
Asked what is the MF and RV and didn’t get an answer yet.
How would you rate this deal

LOL. $1k+ a month for an E-Class

No thanks.

Not a lot of other E-Class coupe deals for comparison, but < 10% discount (earlier deals had 15-16% off) and the overall payment (incl down payment) does make it sound fairly bad.

Does the car have any incentive/rebates, and do you qualify for things like fleet discount?

I don’t know if the 15 - 16% off deals were coupes, and 450’s at that. E350 sedan is of course the bread and butter lease vehicle. Not the coupe. May be harder to find data points on a coupe.

May actually be cheaper to finance it.

Dealer is trying not to give me fleet for some reason

I would could the tax credit as a part of the discount price no?
The deal is 1K taxes instead of 4.5K

Always compare with what’s available on swapalease for cars that

  1. generally lease poorly like MB E-class coupes

1a. Probably had some $CCR put down.

  1. Get the original lessee sent into the doghouse and the only way to get back is to get rid of it.

So E 450 coupe isn’t a good value then for your buck. I heard RV is 54% and MF is 0.0008

I guess? Since I’m new to LH, it’s hard for me to conceptualize deals in states where tax is assessed on the total sales price. If you include that, that’s still “only” a 14% discount.

An E450 is the “lowest” model for the coupe; there is no E350 coupe (at least for 2020). If you use the search function, the deals were def on the coupe, not the sedan. But the latest post was back in July.

54% is actually not bad. Did you get the actual MF used by the dealer and plug in the numbers into the calculator? They might be padding.

If you really want this specific model, I agree w/ @max_g’s suggestion.

I plugged the numbers and looks like they align but the score isn’t that great. I think the lower RV is what puts it in the 900 payment

Low RV, low discount, and little to no incentives will do that
