Exactly. The relative rarity will only make a difference when these cars are as collectible as 1960s’ Stingrays
There are so many “rare” versions of the C4-6 that aren’t worth all that much… takes a really long time for a car to become collectible, and even then there’s no guarantee it will be a better investment than an index fund

Get them at the estate sale, every old guy seems to have one
Only 300 in 53 and 700 in 55 so no. 1983 had about 45 preproduction units but only 1 survived.
