Whoever told you this has 0 clue what he or she is talking about. I wouldn’t take any advice from them personally
“I cannot put anything Additional towards the C 35 lease” - guy sounds like he is broke but wants to lease a $53k car.
Yes, 5000 off on a 48995 msrp cla 35 amg
That’s a pretty big leap to make.
Can you get one for the OP? That sounds like an amazing deal for a car most dealerships don’t even have on the lot yet.
Ya im pretty sure i can get him the deal
This is what the numbers look like based on my location and using $500 lease cash and $500 penfed as incentives
It was the sales rep at BMW. Lol
I should’ve said I don’t want to put anything else towards. Why am I responding to a douche anyway??
Ignorance is ugly.
@ucf_knight - As some folks have already said, do not expect to get much of a discount on a 2020 model this time of year.
From experience, the best time of the year to buy a car is at the end of the month or end of the quarter. You might also get “lucky” scoring a deal on a previous year model if there is a redesigned current year model.
Side note: If you have not already done so, I would recommend getting an insurance quote for the car(s) you are looking at. Just email/call your broker/insurance company with the VIN.
Thanks for the info. Didn’t know I could do that. Will get the VIN #’s and call tomorrow.
With my insurance company, I didn’t need a VIN for an insurance quote. Just model and trim line.
curious what ended up happening with this
just signed for this today… seemed like a great deal to me
You received a good discount and you have a decent deal. It comes about $580 per month plus tax if this was a 36/10k lease. Or $623 with 15k. For me it’s still high for a 2.0L 4 cylinder engine. Enjoy your new car.
It was a 36month 15k miles per year deal. I’m not sure I follow what you mean with $623… what does that mean?
If your drive off was only first month payment your monthly payment would be $623 plus tax. It’s your effective payment.
Good discount. Next time think about zero drive off and use the 4,500 for MSDs (if allowed in your state)
hmm yes I see what you mean. If I understand you correctly, you’re saying if I rolled in acquisition fee, dealer prep fee, luxury tax, and tire tax (about $2500 total), and only paid sales tax and first month upfront (about $2000), my payment would have been $619 (calculator was a little off).
I know youre saying you think it may not be worth it for a 2.0 v4, but how much better could I have done for this car with that MSRP?
Im in NJ so I think MSDs are allowed yes… but honestly I,ve never looked into that before. I will do more research about that before my next lease thanks!
