I did my mom’s 2020 530e. We ordered it in August 2019, when 2020 models just started being produced, and the deal was locked in as usual for an order… Car came in early October.
MSRP for her was $59,795
36/10K mpyr lease
Selling Price: $52,600 (after loyalty) + $2,015 fees
Residual: 61%, MF 0.00165
$699.98 per month, taxes included. Nothing down or up front, just paid first month and drove away when the car came in.
It looks like the numbers are better now for end of year. $9K off MSRP is no joke. 58% resid for 15K mpyr is hurting you but your numbers look like a very good deal to me.
2020 gets a 12KW battery pack vs the previous 9KW battery pack. 2020 also gets the full digital gauges as standard, which used to be an optional upgrade.
Don’t pay too much attention to the LH score… it’s irrelevant based on how individual cars are leasing, location, miles/year, etc.
10% off is a decent first offer and probably just 1-2% left (maybe) to discount as the 2020 530e seems to be popular in SoCal. If you like the options, offer to take it at 11% off? You will get another $1000 post sale rebate via BMW CCA too.
A dealer 3 times told me let’s do it and then failed to secure the car so done with them. Its okay the cars only had one package I wanted.
Working with a dealer who actually gave me the deal sheet, but they too are “securing the car from port” but said they’d give me the same price on a custom order.
Do you have any update? Can you post what deal you finally end up getting? I’m also actually looking to lease a similar 530e with parking and driving assistance package in SoCal area. I’m not very good at negotiating, so your deal would be a good reference point for me to begin with.
Haven’t gone to any dealer yet, but planning to go this week sometime.
The 635 deal I posted from 8 days ago is what I am going with but with OL code got it to 617 a month,
1500 DAS.
Driver assist, premium, and HK speakers.
I had to negotiate my ass off. Its not that awesome of a deal because the 530es are in short supply right now. If you can wait a few months for one - I would. I just couldn’t.
I dealt with every BMW dealer in SoCal. I would avoid Buena Park BMW like the plague. Riverside BMW has been a pleasure to work with.
I just enhanced my End of Year deals AGAIN and I don’t think you will find better deals anywhere. It’s for in-stock NEW cars only (no loaners, no dealer trades and no orders). I think I’ve got ten more 2019 530e available plus 3ers, X1 and X2 for 2xx, 4ers and X3 for mid 3xx, 5ers for 3xx, X4 for 4xx and even X5 for mid 5xx. No shipping available and deals must be signed on site. Time is running out.
You get an unbelievable deal when the dealership has a target to hit. Custom orders will not count towards anything until the deal is done which would be in Jan-Feb depending on model and allocation. Sorry.
Thanks for the info so far. and apologies for so many questions. however, could you share with me how you went about looking for inventory? I have been looking on bmwusa web page to look at the inventory for SoCal radius. however, that site doesn’t seem to have any capability to filter by packages or interior color even!. Was wondering if you had a better way of finding a car of your choice amongst all dealers.
