2020 BMW 530e $75k special order deal for grabs (currently leaving factory)

I special ordered a 2020 BMW 530e. It has every option but rear-seat entertainment. It is due to arrive in the next two weeks. I’m very close to an M760i deal that is just to good to pass up, and to be a good neighbor, I want to see if there is someone interested in taking this special order car. BMW 530e inventory seems slim at the moment, and highly equipped 530e cars seem even more rare.

I don’t mean to burst your bubble because your intentions are good. But this isn’t that special.

10.3% off w base MF is fine

Well, let’s agree that the word was used in the context of being a special order and considering there isn’t boat-loads of 530e vehcles, with only 8 in a 100 miles of me, and if you look out of LA there is only 5; and the highest MSRP being $61k. I’ll actually change my use of special to being- it is special.

Not special.

Many hackers would not consider it a good thing that the car has so many options.

I’d view this super high MSRP as a huge burden. Dealer actually ordered a $75k 530e without a nonrefundable deposit?

No such thing as nonrefundable deposit in CA.

I would agree. Many hackers would not consider a high-MSRP, heavily optioned vehicle a good thing. However, there are those of us that value both a respectable deal and highly optioned vehicle; and where
@Omegaautogroup posted a 530e with the below deal, I would rather pay $199 more per month for $20k more car. That’s just me though! :upside_down_face:

2020 BMW 530e ($55,XXX MSRP): $479+tax with Loyalty | $509+tax without Loyalty 2k DAS

I posted photos of my current one (which is swapping at the moment). The one here looks the same.

@chrishs2000 I’ll be adding this to my collection if someone doesn’t want it. I’ve always had a 3rd car for mileage!

that’s more than my 540i which is also 75k, I’m at roughly $520 a month

Me too, I’m all about the third vehicle…but you could pay cash for a nice used sports car or used family vehicle instead and have something that doesn’t depreciate so much :man_shrugging:

Not a special deal…sorry. It’s an okay deal.

Can’t even get the CVRP rebate for 530e anymore.

You custom ordered a fully optioned vehicle and dropping it on the dealers lap now?

See the above post! And in my first post, the m760i deal is still in process; and at the moment not looking good. This may be a wasted thread in the end, but I love the ferociousness of the community looking out for the dealer, who while most of the time, the community tries to leave bloody in the streets after stealing (legally) their car!! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I hate customers like you man. I have some people call me to ask if they can special order an item, which I don’t usually stock because it’s unpopular, then they cancel when it arrives. Then now I’m burdened with an item that’s hard to sell. I could’ve spent that money on new items.

Put yourself in their shoes. You just custom ordered a high optioned car that’s going to be hard to sell for them now.

They committed to you But you just burned them

@johns525 I hate people that have difficulty reading, and you obviously had difficulty reading my above post. I have integrity. Let me help you.

Rather than always have a third vehicle, wouldn’t it be less expensive to get more miles upfront on your first two vehicles?

The salesman who let you option out a 530e like that needs to be arrested.
The M760i though :+1:

The m760i deal is a 36/20k lease- I drive 30k per year, and enjoy nice, new cars to spend that 30k miles a year in. I typically swap out before I need to register, buy tires, heck sometimes even before the 1st oil change.

Oh, I read it very well thanks.

You’re ditching your commitment to them because you want another car.

You’re trying to get your crappy deal to someone else. But, no one here is going to take that deal because we all know it sucks.

Therefore, you and I both know, you are going to ditch the 530e when no one wants it and go for the other car.

Effectively $760 incl tax with max MSD on a $75k 530e?

@johns525 Just because you think it, doesn’t make it true. I would hardly say $3k back of invoice on a special order car is a crappy deal. I would love a list of dealers that would do more than $3k back of invoice- I buy a few cars, so that would come in handy. As you can see, there is a need for such crappy deals on well-optioned cars. As you can see, I bought the below one in January, and put nearly 4k miles on it already; because no dealer had a well-option 530e anywhere in 500 miles. At the end of the day, different people like different things. If you like things beside strippy 530e’s, one typically has to pay more than the strippy.
