I just got this offer from a dealer. I know it’s bad, but I wanted to know what I should be aiming for. New York so no MSD. Paying tax, title, fee upfront no other cap cost reduction. Thanks for any advice!
MSRP: 57,690
Selling Price: 54,750
After Incentives: 53,500
Months: 36
Miles: 10k
RV: 60%
MF: .00128
Inventives: 1250
Bank Fee: 925
Dealer Fee: 75
NY Fee: 360
Taxes: 2800
Monthly: 662 (Calc says 644 couldn’t get it to match but it’s only $2)
That discount is super-weak. Going into winter in New York means that the dealer probably won’t have a lot of convertible customers. It’s also a 430 instead of a 440, so demand is a little weaker on that score as well.
But maybe my sense for the demand on this car is off.
I would expect about 10% before incentives to be completely realistic. I would also see about finding a 2019, as you should be able to hit 15% without too much trouble.
