2020 Acura MDX FWD with Technology Package

Hi,
I don’t have the specifics to plug into calculator but my dad just leased this Acura MDX Tech. It was $0 DAS, 3 years, 15k miles per year, for $500 per month including tax (MSRP was about $50k), they through in Free Maintenance, Tire Protection, Windshield Protection and Excess Wear and Tear. He was in a time crunch but I don’t know if he did decent considering the circumstances?

Sounds a bit high from what I recall seeing other mdxs going for lately, but would really need the details to properly evaluate.

Congratulations to your dad on his new lease.

And preferably from him, not you.

I assure you he paid for these products, they’re in the lease payment. The products can be canceled, but otherwise the deal is done, no point in evaluating the deal after the fact.

Yes- you could have done better… there have been (and still are) significant Acura to Dealer incentives on the outgoing MDX, which have been making this SUV a “bargain” lease, for those in market for a 3rd row.

I bet they did. Post the contract and let’s find out how free they were

If OP did not have loyalty or conquest ($1500) thats a very good deal for a sign n drive no money das at 15k miles for the Tech and includes all the finance extras.

If op had loyalty or conquest, they basically used his $1500 for those extras which OP can cancel and bring his monthly down as the maintenance plans for Honda and Acura are insane direct from bank.

I will get it from him and post as soon as I can. He is not tech savvy so he does not know how to open an account on this forum so I would be posting on his behalf.

Hi,
I did have Conquest and Loyalty. It was hard getting this deal (we shopped around a lot). Yes, I realize they were not free (we paid about $15-20 bucks extra on top of monthly payment but it felt like a good deal. We are in Southern California so it’s not an easy market. I really wanted an XC90, but it as coming about 150-200$ more per month.

FWIW - if you don’t have separate glass coverage on your auto insurance with a low deductible, F&I glass coverage isn’t a bad idea. newer Honda/Acura windshields with LKAS run $1000-$1500.

thank you, yes I know it is costly. to repair. What is F&I by the way?

It was $470 per month including tax for the Tech FWD, 15k miles per year, $0 drive off. This was still very hard to do here (I tried 4 dealers and they were all giving me above $500 per month).
