I’m thinking this is not a good deal, but running this past the forum to make sure I’m not being unrealistic.
Pulse is a dealer-added item that they will remove if the customer doesn’t want it.
This is in MN

I’m in the twin cities and assume this is a Luther dealer, either Burnsville or St Louis Park dealership.
The deal looks pretty bad to me… I saw on the Marketplace forum, you can get an SEL 10k/36mo for $0 down with loyalty at $248/mo. I think targeting the 15% off before incentives is where you need to be to make this an attractive lease. Also, I believe the 2019 SEL residual was 60-62% based on mileage. The residual looks crazy low to me.
I’ve also seen low prices with Eich motors in St cloud. Might be giving their internet sales manager a shout.
Good luck with your hunt!
@TotesJFM - Yes, this is Luther Westside VW in St Louis Park. Edmunds gave me MF & residual of 0.00120/60% for 36/10. Searched here for info on marked up MF but didn’t find a lot of guidance on what to do when the dealer does so.
Thanks for your input!
Best you can do when they markup the money factor is call them out on it, letting them know that you know the base MF. If your credit is over about 720 you should qualify for best MF. But, they always have to right to keep it marked up to make extra money if they are giving you a good % off MSRP.
Did you give Inver grove VW and eich motors a call with a chance to beat Westside? Once you get quotes from them I’d give Linda Radue at Burnsville a call to beat them all. We bo Got our minivan from her and know a few others who have bought from her. She doesn’t like to lose
@TotesJFM I told Westside the deal I wanted and they responded with false information such as an invoice price that was clearly wrong and stating the MF from Edmunds was a mystery to them. So I will try your advice and see what can be done!
Good luck!
