Hey currently went to a couple of dealerships trying to nail a decent lease deal. Here’s what I got from the most competitive dealer so far. FYI I live on Long Island NY. This dealer is from out of state to take advantage of the MSD.

MSRP: $64,210
Sale Price: $57,593
Drive off amount ( 1st month + tax upfront + acquisition fee + dmv + doc fee) =$4500
Acquisition fee: $995
Doc Fee: $408
Reg Tax Title: $420
Money Factor: .00108
Residual: ~56 not confirmed yet but gives me my monthly total
Monthly Payment: $655

Also have the option to put up 10 MSD deposits, which I think would lower my payment in the neighborhood of ~$605.

Any opinions on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

How many months and miles/year is this? 39 months should be better- the RV is only 1% less than 36 months.

If you live in NY, can you do MSDs from an out-of-state dealer? Does an out-of-state dealer collect the tax upfront and give it to NY? I don’t know.

What state is the dealer in offering you this deal?

Have you asked if Volvo is offering the 1st payment waiver? It may or may not be available in the northeast.

The lease is for 10,000miles/39 months

The dealer will collect NY sales tax upfront and they are located in New Jersey. Dealer said they have done multiple MSD lease on customers from NYC.

I will ask them about the 1st payment waiver.

Okay. A 39/10 RV is 57%. There is a 7,500 RV for 58% in case that’s of interest.

Do you know how to check the lease incentive in the Volvo payment estimator? Check it for the NJ zip code and you’ll be able to tell how good the discount is.
