Only qualified for Costco as far as I know so not sure what the other $1k incentive was. I also only paid $6500 MSDs at signing and they took the first monthly payment from the rebate/incentive. Didn’t get that but won’t complain as that makes my real monthly if calculated over 36 months $472.5 + tax.

I had actually negotiated a little lower price but switched to a $2300 higher MSRP car last minute (for wife approval on the color…lol) but only added $10 to the original monthly negotiated price. Seemed worth it as the two options added, air suspension and child booster, will both actually be used/enjoyed.

I had been shopping for about a week and overall it was about what I was expecting but thought it would take to the end of the month to strike a deal. I think they’re starting to get pretty aggressive discounting the '19 R-designs so now’s the time to jump especially if you want a pick of good options/colors. I’d recommend negotiating on a higher MSRP.

what dealer was this?

Great deal on this. I’ve been shopping the xc90 r design for a few months now. I’d sign this today if I got your same offer! Nicely done!

Down to .00064 with 10 MSDs (10x0.00005=0.0005)
MSDs should be $6,000 max on $577/mo with tax capped, or $5,000 on $486/mo w/out capped tax

Fixed the MF…thanks. There was definitely confusion on how the MSDs work. The pre MSD monthly was $629 so I guess they went off that.

Volvo calculates monthly after MSDs

That makes sense. The error was probably because I negotiated the price without MSDs first since all dealers were freaking out when I would mention I wanted to be in the 500s even though i was clear that was with MSDs. So used this approach to work out the deal instead. Still a 29% return with the extra 500 tied up so no big deal.
