2019 Volvo S60 T6 R-Design

Dealer quoted me the following:
Fully loaded 2019 Volvo S60 T6 R-Design, Includes the B&O sound system
$50,840
$0 Down
Monthly payments $723 with tax
36 Months / 10K miles yearly
Zip Code 89502 (Nevada)

I checked edmunds and it seems the price is at $47,769

Is there anything I can do to move the price?
This will be my first ever lease, and never owned a Volvo before.

Here is the link to the calculator:

Okay, you have a whole lot of things going on here:

  1. the information in the calculator is completely incorrect and reflects a payment of $4 per month.
  2. You need to re-check the MSRP on the car. “Fully-loaded” would push the car towards $60,000. The B&O system is $3,200, and the base price is $49,040, so there’s no way this is $50,840.
  3. This car should be NOWHERE near $723 a month. I got my Inscription back in May, and my MSRP is similar to $50,840. They weren’t discounting them that much then (and the 2020s are now on the lots and have been), plus despite the residual drop, the MF has also dropped significantly. I pay $445 a month.
  4. You need to find out the incentives, etc. for your zip and break out what discount they are giving you (but it looks like there is no discount).
  5. The payments are over $26,000 over 3 years. I haven’t checked the residual lately, but I would assume it’s at least 50%. This would mean that you have some negative equity in there or the dealer is charging you above MSRP. I would run from this dealer like the wind.

Hi there, thank you for your input,

There is a rebate of $2250.

Yeah, the MSRP is not $50,590. Please get all the relevant info, such as what I described, and then this can be properly evaluated. I also would not post a link to a car I’m persuing. Someone can swoop in and grab it.

I’ve updated the link, I checked the Costco price and I checked the edmunds price and both are giving me around $47k msrp.

No they aren’t. MSRP is not the selling price.

Your leasing process will go much much smoother if you take a step back and read the leasing 101 on here and become a bit more familiar with how the whole process works.

I’ll go further and suggest to @IcEWoLF - this deal is so bad you should just hire a broker. The dealership you are working with had already spotted the chalk mark on your back pocket.

I’ll have to read up more on this and try to figure things out.
I do appreciate all the info given to me.

The best thing you can do for getting a good lease deal is spend a bunch of time learning about everything that goes into it.

Seems super high. I got a 52k MSRP 2019 S60 T6 R 36/15k for under $500 with 0 down. However, I was am in NH without sales tax but it should make that much of a difference. Also, this was in July and it is now the end of the year with 2020s out, you should be able to do much better. Not sure if my friend Mike could help since he is new England focused but worth an ask. @Bostoncarconcierge

Any broker could help. Even with cross country shipping it would be a way better deal

I think for me at this time is to check a broker on the board, I have messaged Boston and see if he can work with me, not sure how this will work across the country, but hey it doesn’t hurt asking hehe.

What state are you in? He doesn’t work in California. You’d have to speak to @Benedetto about that.

I am in Nevada.
I live close enough to California that I can make a trip there.

No, @Bostoncarconcierge doesn’t broker deals in California due to smog and registration requirements, so it’s easier for him to get you a car from anywhere else in the US and/or ship it.
